100th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION
The Edison Park Fieldhouse building is 100 years old this year. After much investigation, it was discovered that the building's architect was S. S. Beman, a renowned Chicago architect. The building has recently been placed on the National Register of Historic Places.
Part of the renovation project includes adding brick pavers to the entry way of the fieldhouse. Business owners and members of the community can commemorate this historic event by purchasing a brick to be engraved with your name or the name of a loved one. Personalized bricks cost $100, a double brick cost $175. Order forms can be picked up at the Edison Park, 6755 N. Northwest Highway or at the Edison Park Metra Station.. Please contact Michelle Baldwin at Edison Park, (773) 631-3988 or Rita McGovern at the Chamber office (773) 631-0063 for more information.
